Вышел обновленный релиз дистрибутива Ultimate Edition на базе Linux Mint, предоставляющий своим пользователям рабочий стол GNOME 2, дополнительные пакеты ПО и другие усовершенствования. Разработчики утверждают, что Ultimate Edition 3.0 не похож ни на один из предшествующих выпусков.
Он выполнен на базе Linux Mint 11 «Katya», который, в свою очередь, основан на Ubuntu Natty 11.04. Ultimate Edition 3.0.1 содержит ПО для решения широкого круга задач; тем не менее, в случае отсутствия необходимого пользователю пакета, доступ к репозиториям Getdeb, Ubuntu и Linuxmint позволяет доустановить требуемое ПО.
